Built 1906 for directors of Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. Rare Domingan mahogany used inside. Red rose of Lancashire and White Rose of Yorkshire seen in tiled mosaic on the lavatory floor. Photo of Haddon Hall displayed in main saloon, which was 1914 prize winner in L&Y Horwich apprentices photographic society and displayed in directors’ saloon until 1921. List of drawer contents found in kitchen, still under mahogany flap, items include grape scissors and champagne nipper.
