Wdrwn 7/39, later at RAF Blackwall; centre wheels removed (gradients, curves). P 1967 by Saffron Walden MRC: at Audley End till 1981. 
Now again a 6 wheeler.

Evidence found during restoration backs rumour that it was converted for use of Princess Alice. (Silver Leaf and Gold Gilding was found, not something you would normally find in a third class coach!).

Seen left are passengers on 'Strawberry Special' excursion in 1999 to Bolton Abbey.
